Hi, I’m Marissa.

Life stressors and trauma can impact our lives in unexpected ways, and reaching out for support takes courage. I value collaborating with individuals to create space for healing that feels safe, respectful, and attuned to your unique experience. As a trauma therapist, I am committed to fostering an environment where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and lived experiences without judgment.

I practice from a trauma-informed, relational, and anti-oppressive perspective, with deep respect for the diverse identities and backgrounds each person brings into the therapeutic relationship. My approach is primarily experiential and somatic, supporting clients in reconnecting with their bodies, emotions, and inner resources at a pace that feels manageable.

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with specialized training in EMDR, Somatic Experiencing (SE), Experiential Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I draw from multiple therapeutic frameworks and tailor my work to align with your goals and needs. I work with adults and have particular expertise in sexual trauma, grief, religious trauma, and attachment and relationship concerns.

I believe healing is possible and consider it an honor to walk alongside you on your path toward growth and integration. I offer a free 15-minute consultation to explore fit. Immediate scheduling is available, and I look forward to connecting with you.
